If you're stuck on what kind of event you want to hold for your bar then let us help you out. We've compiled a list of ten great fundraising ideas.
- PERCENTAGE OF SALES – Donate a percentage of your sales, whether it be just one night or every night for a whole year!
- KARAOKE – Who doesn’t love karaoke? Hold a karaoke night and charge a buck or two to get up and sing! (or you could charge a cover that night)
- LADIES NIGHT – drink specials for the ladies only while charging men a cover to get in.
- PENNY PITCHERS – charge a premium cover to get in for penny pitchers! You can do this all night or just during certain hours.
- DART/POKER TOURNAMENT – charge an entry fee to participants. Rewards for winners can be a pitcher, food from the kitchen, or whatever you’d like!
- BEER PONG/FLIP CUP TOURNAMENT – this one is sure to bring the younger crowd in! Charge an entry fee to play. Remember to reward the winners! (You can also use orange cups to play!)
- ORANGE DRINK SPECIALS – percentage of sales of all orange drinks (or anything with orange-flavoring in it) sold can be donated! There are plenty of orange drinks: mimosas, screwdrivers, tequila sunrises, etc. You can even add orange food coloring to drinks!
- BAR OLYMPICS – host a bar Olympics night! Customers can form teams and play different games, for each competition they win they will receive a “medal”, the team with the most medals at the end wins! You can play games like beer pong, darts, quarters, flip cup, shuffleboard, etc.
- BARBECUE – host a barbeque! You can ask for donations from your local grocers and donate the proceeds!
- TRIVIA – host a trivia night and donate the entry fee or cover! Play 10 rounds and the team with the most points at the ends receives a prize of your choice!
