Camp Hope

This program is for youth ages 8-15 who have a loved one with MS or live with MS. The camp will include both recreational and educational activities to help young people affected by MS better understand the disease and ways to live with it in their lives. Programs and activities will be available for children living with MS and for children who have a parent or other relative living
with MS.


The 2013 program is July 21 - 26. Applications are available now!

Camp Hope - Horseback Riding

  • Swimming
  • Canoeing
  • Pontoon boat rides
  • Adventure hikes
  • Fishing
  • Campfires
  • Evening entertainment
  • Arts and Crafts and other creative activities
  • Horseback riding
  • MS education and sharing groups

PROGRAM FEE:

 $150 per camper

The fee includes all meals, overnight lodging, and activities.
Scholarships are available.


REGISTRATION:

Each camper must complete an application online before being accepted to Camp Hope. Upon acceptance, you will receive detailed information and a billing invoice. An application does not guarantee a spot at the program.


DEADLINES:

Deadline to receive scholarship requests is June 14.
Deadline to receive applications is June 21.

WANTED: MALE CAMP COUNSELORS!!!

We need camp counselors for Camp Hope. All counselors must fill out an application, go through an interview process and clear a background check (at no cost to you). Background with children and/or education is preferred but not required. Counselors are required to attend training July 20 and stay through end of Camp on July 26.

About Touch of Nature
The camp is just outside of Carbondale, IL, two and a half hours southeast of St. Louis. Touch of Nature is surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, and Giant City State Park.
