Beginning Conversations Resources

­­­­­ Millions of people are affected by multiple sclerosis and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Being newly diagnosed can bring about many questions. We have developed a program to help those who have been newly diagnosed receive the support they need through a one-on-one meeting at a local coffee house or restaurant with a volunteer who has been successfully living with MS.

Training:
Training is provided for people interested in the opportunity and includes a combination of self-study and over the phone training.

For new volunteers, orientations are held the 2nd Thursday of every month at the St. Louis office at noon and 6pm.
