A top student with a 3.9 GPA, Rebecca has the drive to succeed when she begins college this fall. The road there has not been easy. When Rebecca was diagnosed with MS as a teenager, her parents were unable to care for her and she was homeless. Due to financial hardships, her MS went untreated for a year causing her grades to suffer due to depression, migraines, and blackouts. Through it all, Rebecca gained a new perspective on life. She considered MS the diamond in the rough that helped her become a more optimistic caring person with a drive to succeed. She will study public relations management and international business to learn hot to run a nonprofit organization helping children in need.
