Whenever someone invites the National MS Society to host a volunteer fair table, speak to a class of students, pass out pamphlets at fundraising events, speak about MS at local organizations, etc., we send the invitation to MS Ambassadors in the specified area because they are the personal “experts” for the disease. Some ambassadors live with MS, some have family members or close friends who live with the disease, and others have no personal connection at all. No matter their reason for wanting to be an ambassador, everyone is welcome to join. The only extra requirement is that you have basic knowledge about MS and the National MS Society, because you will speak about those two topics whenever you represent the Society.
We are ready to prepare you with information and resources so you can successfully educate, engage, and encourage others to Join the Movement to create a world free of MS.
How to become an MS Ambassador
It's a pretty simple process. Begin by signing up to volunteer here. Make sure you specify "becoming an MS Ambassador" as one of your interests in the application.
If you're already currently volunteering within the Chapter and would like to add the position of MS Ambassador to your responsibilities, email MS Ambassador Coordinator Meghan Freeman at email@example.com.
