Bike MS rides in Alaska, Montana and Washington drew more than 2,000 cyclists as they hit the road this summer to end multiple sclerosis (MS). Together, they’ve already raised $1.8 million toward the $2.1 million fundraising goal, which supports MS research and local programs and services for people affected by MS.
Fundraising continues through the October 14 fundraising deadline, at which time the top 100 fundraisers in Washington and top 20 fundraisers in Alaska and Montana will be crowned as the 2014 Century Club. Teams continue to compete for the coveted Highest Team Fundraising award, while a full list of all team award winners from the ride can be viewed at bikeMSnorthwest.org.
Experience Bike MS virtually – event photos will be available on our Chapter Facebook page soon!
Thank you to our sponsors, including presenting sponsors Point B in Washington and St. Vincent Regional Neuroscience Center for Brain and Spine in Montana. From route support, to fun extras for our participants and the introduction of ‘I Ride with MS’ jerseys (sponsored by Genzyme and MS One to One), their support ultimately ensures more fundraising dollars are dedicated to MS research and local programs and services for people affected by MS.
Cyclists, volunteers, sponsors and MS Champions: It is because of your dedication and commitment that we will create a world free of MS. Thank you!
