With 2000 cyclists riding together, it is very important that you understand completely how to ensure your safety, as well as that of the other participants. Preparation, training and common sense make bicycling safe. There are many levels of experience, from very occasional riders to near pro-level riders

League of American Bicyclists - Riding Tips
The National MS Society has partnered with the LAB to ensure all cyclists riding in Bike MS are educated. Visit their website for even more resources at www.bikeleague.org.

Bicycle Response Team
A special group of volunteers on bikes with first aid/cpr and cycling skills training to help you on the road at Training Rides and the Tour to Tanglewood.

Bicycling Laws of North Carolina
In North Carolina, the bicycle has the legal status of a vehicle. This means that bicyclists have full rights and responsibilities on the roadway and are subject to the regulations governing the operation of a motor vehicle.

 

Training Rides
