On-line fundraising is the most effective way to raise money.

Start by logging in to your Participant Center.

Once you access your Participant Center, you can update your personal fundraising page (and your team page if you are a team captain), track your progress, and reach out to your friends and family with the e-mail templates. Each time you send an e-mail from your Participant Center, a link to your personal fundraising page (and team page) is automatically added.

From your Participant Center home page, you can download the Stair Climb MS facebook application. The application allows you to donate your profile picture to the NMSS logo, send a stream story where your friends can click directly on the status update that you send through the application to donate to your efforts, and view your personalized fundraising badge.

Set a Goal and let everyone know what it is. They will want to help you reach it!
Just ASK EVERYONE!!! The number one reason why people don't give is because they were never asked! Consider asking everyone you know and meet, from friends and family to local business owners. So now that you have your list, start asking!
Personal Connection is a great way to highlight the importance of the mission. You might be surprised to learn how many peoples' lives have been touched by multiple sclerosis, so if you are participating in honor or in memory of someone with multiple sclerosis…tell your story.
Network, network, network. Use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter or anywhere people are likely to see it to help spread the word.
Think outside the fundraising box. This is a unique fundraiser and there are tons of unique ways to fundraise. Put on your thinking cap and get creative with it! Here are 101 Fundraising Ideas to help you get started.
Don't forget to say "Thank You!" It's important to promptly thank your donors for their support with a thank you note and/or email!
Matching Gifts Program. Many companies have matching gift and volunteer incentive programs to maximize their financial contributions to non-profit organizations. This means they will match their employees’ donations to non-profits, increasing your fundraising total and bringing us closer to a world free of MS.
