On the Move Winston-Salem MS Luncheon
Featuring: Ashley Kumlien
February 18, 2014
Forsyth County Club
Ashley has been a life-long runner and athlete that recently chose to use her running and endurance abilities to raise funds for multiple sclerosis (MS) through her own non-profit, MS Run the US. Ashley’s mom, Jill, has been living with MS for over 30 years, being diagnosed in early 1980. It was Jill’s positive and constant uplifting attitude that inspired Ashley’s biggest athletic achievement, a 3,288-mile solo run across America from California to New York to raise funds & awareness for the MS cause. Upon completion, Ashley became the 16th female ever to complete a coast-to-coast US run.
Through MS Run the US, Ashley now rallies other athletes to run farther than they ever expected for the MS cause.
With Ashley’s natural athletic abilities and academic background specializing in Exercise and Sport Science, it is her life goal to use fitness and exercise as a way to positively influence the lives of those she meets, as well as use endurance running and events to fundraise for the MS cause.
Table Host, Sponsorship and Tribute opportunities are available.
