MS Service Day

Service Day VolunteerMS Service Day is a volunteer driven day of service organized by the National MS Society Mid-Atlantic Chapter. We form teams of volunteers to complete projects for families living with multiple sclerosis. The teams are formed in all areas of our chapter after we get a client request . So no matter where a client lives, we can serve their needs.

Our teams consist of:

  • A Team Captain - who recruits their team and coordinates service with the client
  • An Event Coordinator - who coordinates where the team will meet and what food will be served for the day
  • A Site Assessor - who will assess the project and coordinate the tools needed to complete the job
  • Team Members - who along with the Team Leadership will complete the Day of Service

Projects may include but is not limited to: Yard work, painting (interior/exterior), cleaning, washing Windows, de-cluttering and organizing closets and/or shelves, and light repairs. You may volunteer for one project or get hooked and volunteer for many projects throughout the year as the needs arise!
