Emotional Support

The support you need

We know that you continually face new challenges as a person living with MS. It is important to have access to all of the latest information in research, assistive technology, symptom management and healthy living – as well as to feel supported and to know that you are not alone.

The chapter has several different formats and groups that help provide valuable information and support in a friendly, comfortable environment.

Join a self help group! Self help groups include people with MS, their families, friends, and other care partners who gather regularly to share common experiences and concerns, give and receive emotional support, and obtain information on living and coping with MS. These groups are led by people with MS and/or their family members.

Participate in our Friendly Visitor Program! Click here to learn about our Friendly Visitor Program which connects a trained volunteer to a person with MS who is homebound or living in a long-term care facility.
