Volunteer Awards
Volunteer awards are given throughout the year to deserving volunteers across the Chapter area. If you or a friend deserves one of the following volunteer awards, fill out a nomination form today!
- OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER ACHIEVEMENT: An individual, family or group who, through the commitment of their time and talent, measurably impacts the community of people living with MS. The recipient is an inspiration to volunteers and those who care about creating a world free of MS.
- OUSTANDING ROOKIE VOLUNTEER: A volunteer new to the Chapter who has demonstrated exceptional volunteer service and commitment to the organization. This volunteer has gone above in beyond in his or her fundraising or volunteer efforts.
- OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE PARTNER: A community organization that has worked in collaboration with this chapter to serve the community of people living with MS.
- OUTSTANDING CORPORATE PARTNER: A philanthropic corporation or organization that has generously provided sponsorships and/or in-kind donations for Chapter events that raise money and awareness for MS.
- TRIFECTA AWARD: An individual, group or family who has participated in and/or volunteered for three Chapter events in one year. Events include: Walk MS, Challenge Walk MS, Bike MS, MS Service Day or Leadership events.
- SPIRIT OF SYLVIA: An individual, family or group whose volunteer efforts and commitment advances the mission of the Society to create a world free of MS. The recipient demonstrates outstanding leadership skills and mobilizes others to embrace the mission.
