It only takes one person to inspire hundreds...This is the idea behind Bike MS teams!
By forming a team, you are not only leading your friends, family members, and co-workers on a Bike MS event of fun, fitness and community involvement, but you are also truly making a difference in the lives of the 13,500 individuals in the Greater Carolinas Chapter living with multiple sclerosis. On behalf of everyone at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Carolinas Chapter, thank you for your participation and leadership.
WHY START A TEAM?
The answer is simple: riding is more fun when you are part of a team! You will notice the camaraderie and development of team pride - whether your team is comprised of friends and family, neighbors, members of a community group, or co-workers. Teams qualify for perks and benefits to make your experience even more rewarding. Additionally, teams participate in Team Recruitment & Fundraising Week contests, on-site perks during Bike MS weekend, and post ride celebrations.
Teams are the fastest growing group of fundraisers in the MS movement. They make up 80% of Bike MS: Breakaway to the Beach participants and raise over 75% of the funds donated through the event. The difference they are making in the lives of people with MS is nothing short of amazing.
So who has the most team spirit? Who has the biggest team? And most importantly, who will make the biggest impact to create a world free of MS? As a part of the MS movement, you and your team are committed to a ride for MS. We’re committed to you and the success of your team.
