Walk MS events are fun, exciting, and very rewarding for our walkers and volunteers alike. We need hundreds of volunteers during the event to donate their time and energy to fill imortant jobs in the festival area and along the route(s). Please view the list below to see a few of the jobs we need help with.
While volunteers are not required to fundraise, they do have access to all of the same online fundraising tools that our walkers do. Volunteers can also create or join a team just as our walkers do. Please Note:
Volunteers filling high-level positions including, but not limited to medics, SAGs, supply truck drivers, and registration are required to have an annual background check. If the volunteer position requires driving on behalf of the National MS Society, the individual will also be required to have a motor vehicle check and provide proof of personal automobile insurance and a copy of his/her valid driver’s license. In order to protect the privacy of our volunteers, the Society has established a secure, online process for these background checks.
