Where your money goes
As our 2009 Audit shows, we are committed to our mission of creating a world free of multiple sclerosis! Less than 16% of our total income is spent on operating expenses.
- Helping people with MS continue to live meaningful, productive lifestiles through programs and services including financial assistance, couples and family retreats, wellness resources, MS education opportunities, college scholarships and more. More than 43% of our income is spent here in the Carolinas providing for people with MS.
- Educating people with MS, healthcare providers, lawmakers and the general public about MS
- Funding research for better treatments and eventually a cure. More than 41% of our income is donated to 300 national and international research projects searching for the cause and cure of MS.
