East Brunswick – On Wednesday, September 19th the East Brunswick Hilton will be the site for an employment conference, entitled, It’s All About Work. This full day conference, funded by the Kessler Foundation, will address the unique employment concerns of individuals with disabilities and will help define some of the steps involved in finding appropriate employment.
The morning will feature a Keynote address by Dr. Phil Rumrill Jr., Professor and Coordinator of the Rehabilitation Counseling Program and Director of the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University in Ohio.
There will be an Employer Meet and Greet session after the Keynote address. Participants are encouraged to dress for success and bring their resume. Among those potential employers attending are Staples, Withum, Smith, Brown, CPA; Kessler Rehabilitation; Hilton Hotels; CentraState Medical Center; Deloitte & Touche LLP; and Employment Horizons along with many others.
Three different workshops will address how to make employment, technology and transportation work for you. Both a breakfast and lunch are included in the day-long program.
