 Mark your calendars and get ready to move it closer to a world free of MS. March 12-18, 2012 is MS Awareness Week and is a great opportunity to spread the word and raise awareness for MS.
 

People all over the nation are coming together to share, educate and build awareness about what multiple sclerosis means to them. Together, we are a powerful movement, working to create a world free of MS.

Go orange –take photos of family and friends supporting the MS mission, wearing orange, wearing NMSS gear. Submit your photos on our Facebook page or to bonnie.bardinas@nmss.org. Photos will be featured on the chapter website, chapter Facebook page, newsletters and at chapter events!

Get ready to Kiss MS Goodbye!

Are you ready to Kiss MS Goodbye? The NJ Metro Chapter will kick off their new campaign, Kiss MS Goodbye, during MS Awareness Week 2012. How will you help to Kiss MS Goodbye? Show us your style and spirit as we work to create a world free of MS. Tell the chapter what MS means to you, send us your own personal tagline. We will recognize ‘What MS Means to You” throughout the year and submissions may receive a special treat! Submit your tag line to bonnie.bardinas@nmss.orgor on the chapter Facebook or Twitter pages.

 Kiss MS Goodbye “Kiss MS Goodbye” Happy Hour to “Kick-Off” MS Awareness Week
From 5pm to 8pm at The Draft House, 100 Brighton Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Happy hour will feature a meet and greet with MS movers and shakers, food and drink specials, and other fun activities!

The Blue Moon Café goes orange! Dine out, take out, get delivery or purchase gift cards/catering in Englewood, Woodcliff Lake or Wyckoff and 20% of your bill will be donated to the New Jersey Metro Chapter of the NMSS. Fairway Market
Shop MS AwarenessFairway Market is partnering with the National MS Society to bring awareness to our community to support our mission toward a world free of MS.  You can help by food shopping at Fairway Paramus. Kiss MS Goodbye Fashion Show and Health Fair
The New Jersey Metro Chapter in collaboration with Boscov’s and Makeover Your MS, Inc., will launch their Kiss MS Goodbye campaign! Join us from 6 – 8 pm at Boscov’s on Route 35 and 36 in Eatontown as they host a Women’s Fashion Show/Health Event in their store where Kiss MS Goodbye lipsticks and lip glosses will be sold. For each lipstick or lip gloss sold 75% of the proceeds will go to the New Jersey Metro Chapter and Makeover Your MS, Inc. Click HERE to Register

Educational Teleconference

Friday, March 16

The New Jersey Metro Chapter will join the Breeze Radio at a special St. Patrick's Day Happy Hour at Kelly's Tavern at the Jersey Shore, 43 State Route 35 South Neptune City, 4 - 7pm. Come out and register for your favorite event, talk to MS Society staff and get a sweet treat!

Things you can do to help us Move our Mission foward:

Multiple sclerosis can stop people from moving forward in their lives. Join us and let's make sure it doesn't. No matter what you do, no matter how you do it, you'll keep all of us moving forward.
