Educational Teleconferences

User Options:

Educational teleconferences are an ideal way to learn about a variety of issues that may affect you and your loved ones. You can join us from the comfort of your own phone for a year of informative conference calls on diverse topics of interest to people living with MS.   This educational series is free and made available through the collaboration of the following chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society:   Connecticut, Greater New England, Long Island, New Jersey Metro, New York City-Southern New York and Rhode Island. Participation in a call is a simple process -- you just have to register with the Chapter and you will be provided with a toll free number. Early registration for the calls will guarantee that you receive reminders and updated information, as necessary. The schedule is noted below:

You can register directly from the links above; if you require more information or you prefer to register by telephone, call the Chapter at 1-800-344-4867.

Conference Call Support Groups

You (and your family and friends and caregivers) are invited to participate in Conference Call Support Groups for individuals living with MS.  These groups are created to meet the needs of people with similar concerns. The Conference Call Groups are an hour long, free of charge and require no special equipment. These calls are easily accessible from your home and are a great way to connect and get support from your peers and professionals for twelve weeks beginning the week of April 4, 2011.

All groups provide opportunities to discuss MS-related concerns, experiences and resources. Groups are conducted by trained therapists. To participate in a group, you must be registered as a member of the National MS Society; membership is free. The specific groups include:
