2nd Annual HopeDreaMS Fundraiser at O'Reilly's raises over $3,000 for Walk MS
April 22, 2012- Walk MS team captains Gene Bellmund and Lois Culmone did it again- HopeDreaMS broke their fundraising goal for the third year in a row raising over $19,000 this year to benefit the Long Island Chapter. This year marked the 2nd Annual HopeDreaMS Fundraiser at O'Reilly's in Oakdale, NY. The fun-filled day featured great food, entertainment by Ed Ryan and many happy raffle prize winners.
Zumba for MS raises over $1,100 for Walk MS
February 18, 2012- Walk MS team captains, Nicole Cannizzaro of Team Fight for Fran and Natale Raimo of Team Kasia's Crusaders hosted a first time Zumba event to benefit the Long Island Chapter. Over 40 people participated in the event raising over $1,100 to support programs, services and research.
Long Island Chapter receives $1,000 grant from the Garden City Community Fund
Feburary 1, 2012- United Way of Long Island presented the Long Island Chapter with a $5,000 gift for chapter programs that benefit those on Long Island living with multiple sclerosis.

Rock Out Cures raises $4,200 for MS
On September 18, 2010, Bryan J. Mayer held the 3rd Annual Rock Out Cures, a concert to benefit several charities, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Long Island Chapter. ROC III raised $4,200 for Long Island programs and services.

New York Community Bank Foundation donates $8,500 to Respite Program

The New York Commuity Bank Founation honored another grant request for $8,500. Their support has been a mainstay for the Program for ten years.
