Partner Counseling

Partner Counseling Program

Program funded by Herbert Hobish Memorial Fund

Learning to live with a chronic illness like MS challenges a person's sense of psychological well-being. The unpredictability of MS can be frightening for everyone affected by the disease. The Partner Counseling Program is designed to provide support to married couples who are faced with these challenges in their relationship, as well as in their role within the household.
Professional counselors trained by the National MS Society are available to assist individuals with MS and their significant other to cope more effectively.

Partner Counseling is available for uninsured or underinsured members or their family member(s) who may be having difficulty coping with MS.
