Flash Freeze Meet-Up Event

Join us as we make a statement on the streets of NYC to create awareness about MS. Visit the website for more details.
We invite you to meet us on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 for a flash freeze demonstration. We will meet at Union Square Park, on the South Plaza near the steps, which is the 14th Street side across from Whole Foods. We will meet at noon,dressed in orange. Once assembled, a chapter representative will announce “MS stops people from moving”. At that time, everyone in our group will freeze in their position of choice for three minutes. The announcer will then say “The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t” and we will begin moving. Society staff will have flyers and bookmarks to distribute to passers by to inform them about MS, and chapter representatives will answer any questions they may have. Our goal is to bring awareness to the public about a very serious condition impacting more than 10,000 New Yorkers and 400,000 Americans, everyday.
Look for staff wearing white lab coats when you arrive.
