One week of home delivered-meals:
An MS diagnosis can create physical challenges that make normal functions like cooking and grocery shopping difficult. Your donation will allow for a person living with MS to receive a week’s worth of balanced, nutritious meals, delivered to their homes for their convenience.

Speech Therapy:
A person living with MS may experience challenges in speech and communication. By purchasing this service, you will allow a member living with MS to receive professional therapy to address these issues. Sessions are $84 each, per member.

Heavy Duty Housecleaning:
Help ease the load for someone who may have difficulty lifting or moving items to keep their home clean. Your donation will provide up to six hours of cleaning service for a person living with MS whose home is identified as needing assistance on maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

This assistive device will help foster independence for someone living with MS.

Walker:
This assistive device will help foster independence for someone living with MS.

Physical Therapy:
With an $84 donation, you will purchase a physical therapy session provided professional care for someone who is challenged by the physical debilitation of MS.

Round-trip medical transportation to get to a doctor’s appointment:
Mobility and transportation can pose tremendous physical and financial challenges for people living with MS. By purchasing this service, you will provide round trip transportation to medical appointments.

Counseling Program:
Help someone living with MS cope with emotional effects of their diagnosis by providing a counseling session for them and their loved ones. Individual members can receive up to five sessions and families may receive up to seven sessions of therapy.

Creative writing program:
Help people living with MS explore their imaginative side by purchasing one group creative writing class taught by a professional writer.
 |
Medical equipment:
Help provide durable medical equipment such as, walkers, rollators, and activities of daily living equipment for people living with the physical challenges and symptoms of MS.

Air conditioner:
People livingwith MS may experience a temporary worsening of their symptoms when the weather is very hot or humid. With a $400 gift, you will provide an in-home AC unit, and help them with temperature relief during the summer months.

Critical short- term needs grant:
An MS diagnosis can create financial challenges with unexpected expenses and/or the loss of employment. The chapter provides short-term financial assistance for qualifying members experiencing a financial emergency (e.g., utilities shut-off notice, rent arrears)

Job-Readiness program:
In some cases, an MS diagnosis and symptoms can displace an employee who may no longer be able to perform essential job functions. Our job-readiness programs help job-seekers identify the skills and employment opportunities that may best align with their their needs. For $300, you can provide one session of training for a member seeking employment.

Home Modification:
With a donation of $1,200, you will help modify a home with a ramp, grab bars, or a stair glide and foster greater independence of someone living with MS.

Wheels:
With a $1,200 donation, you will help purchase a mobility device (scooter or wheelchair) that will help foster independence for someone living with MS.
 |
Home Care:
This service will provide in-home service to assist individuals with MS with the daily tasks of living.

Scholarship:
Help alleviate the financial challenges of a family living with MS, by providing a scholarship to an accredited post-secondary school for high school seniors living with MS or who have a parent living with MS and high school or GED graduates of any age who are living with MS or have a parent living with MS.
