Researchers are working diligently to discover new ways to treat multiple sclerosis and to develop innovative treatment options for disease and symptom management. This year’s half-day educational program focused on cutting-edge research in regenerative and personalized medicine, symptom management and disease modifying therapies.

The keynote speaker was esteemed professor and world renowned researcher, Dr. Patrizia Casaccia, Ph.D. of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She provided a comprehensive overview on regenerative and personalized medicine. Following the keynote address, Dr. Claire Riley of Columbia University Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Care and Research Center. Additionally, the program featured  Dr. Jonathan Howard of NYU Langone Medical Center Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center and Dr. Nancy Nealon of Judith Jaffe MS Center at NY Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell who provided an update on the latest advancements in MS research.
