Spring Break 2013 at Hogwarts Pediatric MS Program

An afternoon of magic and learning for families living with pediatric MS

On Saturday, March 23, 2013 the NYC-SNY Chapter and the Lourie Center for Pediatric MS at Stony Brook  collaborated on a pediatric MS program called Spring Break at Hogwarts—held at Discovery Times Square Harry Potter Exhibition. We had 8 families in attendance with a total of 17 participants and it was so great to see all the families learning and networking together. Mary Squillace, DOT and Mark  Surabian did a terrific job with the presentation on OT and assistive technology and the participating families learned some very useful tips. The exhibit was great fun!  It was nice to see all the movie stuff close up. Enjoy some of these great shots from our volunteer photographer, David Hayese.

We are planning to host another program in the fall. Please feel free to email mrondon@msnyc.org with ideas for where to hold it, what educational topic to cover or a theme.

Our thanks to Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving whose generous grant made this program possible.
