The Walk Will Challenge You,
The Experience Will Change You

The MS Challenge Walk is a three-day, 50-mile experience that tests your strength and your spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of the 400,000 people living with the unpredictability of multiple sclerosis.
The 10th anniversary of the Cape Cod Challenge Walk included walkers from throughout the country, including 17 challenge walkers from Upstate New York who spent many months training and fundraising for this unforgettable event. These 17 walkers challenged themselves to go the distance and walked 50 incredible miles over 3 days in beautiful Cape Cod, MA on September 9-11, 2011. Teams traveled from many areas in our chapter: Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Poughkeepsie and Ithaca just to name a few. We would like to thank all our Challenge Walkers for their hearty commitment to creating a world free of MS. We hope many more of our chapter constituents will join them again next year in Cape Cod to experience this moving and memorable event. Overall 586 participants raised an incredible $1,050,000 for the NMSS Chapters in the Northeast Region. The 17 participants from Upstate New York raised $31,742 for our Chapter. Many thanks to our teams and individual walkers who went the distance for MS!
