Play a key role in advocacy by sharing with federal lawmakers your story of living with MS. This helps educate legislators on the challenges facing those with MS, and helps guide them as they make public policy decisions on issues that impact individuals with MS and their families.

Become an MS Activist

Types & Skills Sets for MS Activists:

  • The layperson who has a story to tell, but is untrained in advocacy.
     
  • An Action Alert participant who is willing to share a story and/or contact an elected official by phone or email.
  •  
  • An MS Advocacy Ambassador who resides in a key legislative district or has mastered a specific issue or priority.
     
  • An MS Activist, especially skilled in communicating, who is willing to participate in an advocacy workshop, teleconference, and/or State Public Policy Day.
