What is the minimum fundraising requirement?
There is no fundraising requirement to participate in the Run MS program. However, you can qualify for our 3 levels of fundraising incentives by raising at least $500, $1000 or $1,500.
What is the difference between the New Participant Registration and the Run MS Veteran Registration?
The New Participant registration fee is $25 and helps cover administrative costs associated with Run MS. You will receive our official Run MS technical t-shirt, as well as access to our fundraising website and tools. The Run MS Veteran registration fee is free and will still give you access to our fundraising website and tools. No t-shirt is given with this registration. If you are an alumni and would like a new Run MS t-shirt, please register as a New Participant.
How do I register for the event in which I want to participate?
Please visit the website of the respective marathon/half-marathon/5k run/etc. in which you are participating. Run MS is a separate entity of each of these races. Please register with your respective run AND with Run MS. If you meet the fundraising minimum of $500, you will be reimbursed for your Run MS registration fee ($25 New Participants).
I have a donor who wants to write a check. To whom should they make it payable?
Please have all checks made payable to the National MS Society. Please include your name, the words Run MS and the race in which you are participating in the memo section. Please send checks to: The National MS Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence, OH 44131. It is advisable to make copies of all checks for your records.
How can I input checks on my website?
Visit your Participant Center from the Run MS website. Click the My Progress button. Once there, please click the Enter Offline Donation link. From there, follow the prompts and click save. Once completed, these donations will appear on your personal page.
I am registered, by have found that I am unable to participate. What should I do?
The National MS Society has a no refund policy. Run MS is a separate entity of the various marathons. Please contact your respective race in regards to the race registration fee.
How can I find my Username and Password?
Remember that your username and password are case sensitive. Click here to find your password. You will receive an e-mail with your username and password. If you still have problems, please contact us for help.

What is a Personal Page?
A personal page is an online promotional tool for your use when asking your friends and family to join your team or sponsor you by making a donation. Once you sign up for an event online, by default, you will have a personal page created for you. You have the option of personalizing this page by going to your participant center. You will be able to customize images, text and the style/color layout of the page.
By default I have a personal page, do I have to change it?
Once you sign up for an event online, by default, you will have a personal page created for you. A compelling personal page attracts and engages supporters. While you can spread the word using customized e-mail solicitations, your personal campaign page can be your own creative expression of your commitment to the cause. Customize your page by selecting the layout and style that work best for you. Utilize the elements of text, photo and status indicators to their fullest advantage.
How do I change my personal fundraising goal?
First, you will need to login to your Participant Center. On the bottom right side of the Participant Center home page is the location to modify your personal fundraising goal. Enter your new goal and submit the changes.
