Thanks to the work of Society Staff and volunteers, in 2010 the Oklahoma Legislature passed HR 2710, allowing anyone to donate to the Society through their tax return.
Look for the Tax Donation Box on your 2011 Oklahoma State Tax Form.
If you have an accountant who prepares your taxes, please advise him or her that this option is new to the form. We must raise over $7,500 each year for 3 years to stay on the form.
I challenge you to tell at least 5 friends and relatives about this opportunity to donate $1.00, $2.00 – up to $25.00 using their refund or adding that amount to the tax they owe to the Oklahoma Tax Commission..
