Why should I start a team?
Have more fun and raise more money! Crossing the finish line with your co-workers, friends, or family makes the event even more memorable.
What is an official team for Bike MS?
An official team is a group of four or more fundraising team members who each raise the $225 fundraising minimum. After your four fundraising team members, crew members and volunteers can be team members too!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to start a team!
Follow these three easy steps and you’ll be on your way.
Step 1: Get four or more co-workers, friends, or family members together
Step 2: Choose a team captain and a team name
Step 3: Set your team fundraising goal
Now you’re all set!
Do Team Captains receive extra support?
YES! The National MS Society provides team captains special support through the Team Captain meetings, one-on-one consultations, and much more to ensure your team's success. Teams also receive special awards and incentives to keep them motivated.
I want to start a TEAM! How do I register?
Registration is easy:
- Pick a team name.
- Register your team
- Send an email to your friends, family and co-workers asking them to join your team or make a donation! Remember to include a link to your personal web page.

Come Party at the Team Village!
After you have finished riding on day one, celebrate your team's accomplishments by gathering together under one tent at this year's overnight bash to toast your team's victory and spur you on to the next day's ride.
The Team Village is the place to be. Located at the heart of the overnight celebration, the team village is where each team can set up and decorate their team's home for members and volunteers to gather and have a good time.
How it works…
Teams rent a tent, table and chairs to be delivered and set up at the ride's overnight (teams may also bring and set up their own materials). Recruit team volunteers to decorate your team tent, supply snacks, and cheer you on as you cross day one's finish line.
