The Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society serves over 6,300 people in 30 counties. The Chapter supports research into the cure, prevention and treatment of MS and provides programs and services to help improve the quality of life for those with MS.
The Central Pennsylvania Chapter provides programs, services and activities in areas such as knowledge, health and independence to empower those affected by multiple sclerosis. Chapter programs are made possible by our fundraising success.
The major fundraising campaigns are: The walk MS, bike MS, MS Leadership Classes, and George F. Hempt Memorial MS Polo Match.
Thousands of volunteers work to help the Central Pennsylvania Chapter accomplish our goals each year. From working a water-stop at an event to sending out information packets to someone who is newly diagnosed, the volunteers are making a difference. Volunteers are key to the chapter's success and we truly value their support.
