We offer many types of support including self-help groups, educational seminars, health and wellness strategies, family programs, financial assistance, and support around day to day concerns. And most importantly, a connection with others living with MS.

Assistance: An overview of the different programs and services the Central Pennsylvania Chapter provides (i.e. financial, transportation, equipment, home modification, long term care, care management, self help groups).

Self Help Groups: Living with MS can sometimes be challenging…so can the variety of emotional reactions a person may feel. Often emotional health needs are overlooked, as many people are unsure where to begin. Finding someone to talk to can be an important first step.

MS Navigator Program: When you contact the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with a question about living with MS, you will be connected with a highly skilled professional whose job it is to help you navigate the challenges of multiple sclerosis. Whatever your concern, your Service Coordination Specialist (your MS Navigator™) will listen and then help you find the best information or connect you to the most useful programs and resources.
- MSWorks: Employment issues can be a major concern when dealing with the unpredictably of MS symptoms. The uncertainty can be isolating, but you are not alone. Through MSWorks there is an extensive support system to help keep you working with MS. The program offers many services such as, but not limited to, career exploration, skills and interests assessments, career counseling and guidance, explanation of legal rights, referrals to local and government agencies, and much more.
