MS Work is designed to connect professionals who are currently employed and
living with MS, to foster business networking, establish professional
connections, support open discussion about successes in the workplace in
spite of MS, and promote positive approaches to working while living with

campaigns, the MS READaTHON. In the 2011-2012 season, these 30
schools raised over $55,500 simply by hosting an assembly about MS and
having the students read books and obtain sponsors.

schools, with the top fundraiser raising more than $1,700!
MS READaTHON is a very easy program to run in your
local elementary or middle school. We're always looking for more
schools for the program. If you want to get your child's school
involved in the 2012-2013 season, please contact Kristin

The six-week Job Readiness Program was
designed to help those who are currently seeking employment and those who
have a job but could benefit from skills training.
All of the sessions of this program will take place on Tuesdays from
September 4 through October 9. All sessions are teleconferences and/or

Belt Sander Race
Congratulations to Bertie’s Inn on another successful
Belt Sander fundraising event. While the funds are still coming in to
Peter and Anne Thomas, owners of Bertie’s Inn and hosts of this 22nd annual
event, we wanted to thank all of the teams for coming out on July 14 to
enjoy the races, food and fun, all to raise money for MS.
