Top ways to raise pledges

USE ONLINE DONATIONS - It's easy, fast and secure and there are no pledges to collect and no postage to pay for.

TELL YOUR SPONSORS ABOUT THEIR CONTRIBUTION - Let them know that it will help fund research and provide services for people with MS right here in our area!

MAKE A LIST - Include all the people you can ask... make it long, too! If you limit whom you ask, you limit the amount you raise.

KEEP THE SPONSOR SHEET WITH YOU - You never know when or where you’ll meet a potential sponsor!

DEMONSTRATE YOUR COMMITMENT - Write YOUR name on the first line of the sponsor sheet!

TALK UP THE EVENT at social gatherings where people will get excited by your enthusiasm for the sport and the event!

GET THE DONATION WHEN YOU GET THE COMMITMENT - Send the pledges right into the chapter, and, before you know it, you’ll hit your goal!

MAKE A LIST OF THE BUSINESSES YOU FREQUENT - Ask them to support YOU for a change!

NETWORK AT THE OFFICE - Post the sponsor sheet outside your door or in a busy area (coffee machine, copier). Don’t forget the copy repairperson, courier, vending machine operator, etc.

COMPLETE A LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN - Personalize our letter or just use it as-is and mail it to everyone you can think of: new and old friends, distant relatives, past co-workers, etc. Print as many copies as you need! Then all you have to do is sign each letter and drop them in the mail. Don't forget to include a SASE for a quicker response.
