Go the distance! Run to stop MS.
I Run to Stop MS offers runners, marathoners and distance athletes of all types the chance to create a world free of MS while pushing their own personal limits.
We welcome all athletes who want to make the world a better place. Experience, location and race distance are flexible. What’s not negotiable is the commitment our runners make to raise money to benefit 14,000 local people living with MS. We highly recommend each runner raises $1,500 or more.
Although a personal connection to MS isn’t required, many of our runners have close ties to the disease. The campaign is organized by Paul Goldstone, a community leader and avid runner/Ironman competitor whose father has been living with MS for more than 20 years.
Run in the Philadelphia Marathon in November, 2013 and/or pick any 2013 race. At the Philly Marathon, all registered I Run to Stop MS runners will receive gear, meet up at the MS warming tent and enjoy food and beverages at the end of the marathon.
NOTE: The National MS Society does not purchase race entries for the Philadelphia Marathon or any other marathon. In addition to registering with this chapter, all runners participating in any of the marathon events listed above must officially register with the marathon of their choice and purchase a race entry.
