What is an MS Rep?
MS Reps are ambassadors that serve as liaisons between the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter and designated physician offices and community service partners. MS Reps recognize physicians, their staff, and personnel at other healthcare facilities as important referral sources for people with MS and their families to the National MS Society. Essentially, these individuals act as “reps” for the chapter in that they develop and maintain good relationships with local service providers through frequent communication.
MS Reps must commit to visiting at least one of their local service providers 4 times per year with the purpose of visits being to build the relationship with the chapter, supply literature, engage in service provider database and ultimately increase an overall awareness of the chapter’s programs, services and events.
Who can be an MS Rep?
Short answer: Anyone! Whether you’re new to our movement or a top fundraiser, a person living with MS or a concerned member of the Greater Delaware Valley community, if you’re interested in increasing public awareness of both MS and the Society, you may be the perfect MS Rep!
