Reporting Analyst

Position Overview
This volunteer will assist in pulling reports from the organization’s databases and manipulating and formatting the data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in pulling of reports from the organization’s databases
  • Use the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel to manipulate and format data for reports
  • Printing labels

Initial Impact:
The contribution of a volunteer in this position will provide staff time to assess current workload, determine how to delegate and allow for the development of new projects.

Sustained Outcome:
Provision of basic reporting support that will allow existing staff time to focus on the development and implementation of additional projects.

Training:
Initial volunteer orientation is provided along with staff and chapter introductions. An overview of basic office equipment and systems will be provided. Ongoing feedback and training is available from staff point person.

Commitment:
Two to three days a week from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good communications skills
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access)
  • Demonstrated experience with the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel including lookups, macros and pivot tables
  • Dependable
