Bike MS Champions strives to connect people living with MS and cyclists from the Bike MS: Escape to the Lake and Bike MS: Keystone Country Ride. These connections foster education, awareness, gratitude and most importantly hope, through the symbol of a Champion Identifier. During Bike MS, cyclists wear the Champion identifier. The paired Champions are encouraged to exchange e-mails and to connect before, during or after the event.

Bike MS Champion identifiers will be available at all packet pick-ups or mailed. You will be able to write the name of your Champion on the identifier to proudly show who you are riding in honor of.

As a cyclist, you are not simply raising money for a cause. You are helping us to make a difference in the lives of others through programs, services, and research to find a cure for MS. Please take a few moments to read the stories of our Bike MS Champions.

There are three ways for cyclists to become a Bike MS Champion:
1. Choose your champion: This year, rather than assigning the pairs, we’re asking cyclists to choose their champions from the profiles above. Let us know who you choice by emailing your information and your Champions information to jennifer.staab@nmss.org

2. Ride for someone you know: If you know someone living with MS, you can choose to ride in honor of him/her. Then teams can inspire others by sharing their champion’s photo and story. Individual cyclists can also to tell us who motivates you. To share your story, e-mail Jennifer at jennifer.staab@nmss.org. We will post them to the Web site.

3. Let us pick: Can’t choose? No problem. E-mail jennifer.staab@nmss.org and we’ll pair you with someone.

Want to be a Champion living with MS?
Do you want to share the mission behind Bike MS with a group of cyclists? As a person living with multiple sclerosis, you are adding depth to a cyclist’s experience, by increasing awareness of our mission, and serving as a critical part in the fight against MS. You are providing your Champion with hope, inspiration and encouragement. Your Champion may be able to do the same for you!
