Where Does the Money Go?

How Your Dollars Make a Difference

With lower than average administrative and fundraising costs, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is committed to ensuring that the maximum amount of money raised funds groundbreaking research and provides direct services for people living with MS.

Every pedal you push and every dollar you raise means increased awareness and more dollars for research, services and programs to help those facing the daily challenges of living with MS. The Society spends more money on MS research than any other voluntary health agency in the world, investing some $50 million annually on research programs. This includes more than 440 MS research investigations at the best medical centers, universities and other institutions throughout the United States and abroad. This investment is paying off in significant progress toward finding treatments and in better diagnosis, rehabilitation and symptomatic therapy for people with all forms of MS.

Bike MS participants and supporters significantly contribute to the many resources the National MS Society offers. It is because of your dedication
that the 9,200 individuals affected by MS in our Chapter can receive the emotional, physical, financial and educational support they need.
