Honoring Coach George MacIntyre

Coach George MacIntyre is known for his infectious enthusiasm and friendliness. His leadership qualities were apparent on the field and in every aspect of his life.

The purpose of the Legacy of Leadership campaign is to raise money for the National MS Society, to beautify the community with a piece of art and to honor a deserving individual. A work of art will be commissioned to honor the legacy of Coach MacIntyre as a permanent reminder of his service to the community.

This Legacy of Leadership campaign is especially meaningful because Coach MacIntyre has been living with multiple sclerosis since 1997. Even though he is prevented from moving, he doesn’t let this disease get him down. He channels his positive attitude toward starting each and every day with a smile.

Help us honor Coach MacIntyre’s legacy of leadership on (and off) the field. Please consider making a contribution to this campaign at one of the levels identified on the donation page. Your support will help fund research to cure multiple sclerosis, provide financial support for local people living with MS and recognize the contributions of a community leader. Also, please make plans to join the celebration as the National MS Society and Vanderbilt University honor Coach MacIntyre at half time during the September 10^th home game against Connecticut.
