The Beef-a-thon is a unique fundraising event hosted in the Panhandle area. Texas cattle feeders have teamed up with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for more than 40 years, raising tens of thousands of dollars each year to support the efforts of the National MS Society.
The Beef-a-thon is a televised auction, broadcast live on KCIT - Fox 14 from 3 - 6 PM on Sunday August 11, 2013. The annual fundraising event features hanging quarters of beef, 15 pound boxes of 90% lean ground beef as well as other various items for the highest bidder!
