Caregiver Spotlight
This submission is from Jessica Varnado about her husband, Nathan Dunk
My husband married me despite my attempts to run him off with the "I have MS, thus ..." Together now for nearly 13 years, Nathan is what I call a "Man's Man." If you looked at him you would never guess that when needed he puts on my mascara and gives me a manicure. He buys and prepares most all our meals even though he would much rather eat out, and he will even brave the women's clothing department despite his hatred of shopping. But what I love most about him is that despite my disease progression and loss of function, his eyes still light up when he sees me.
