Caregiver Spotlight
Below is a submission by Pamela Barham of Arkansas, highlighting her caregivers Nick, her son and Olen, her husband.
My husband and son are the best! They didn't sign on for this whole "MS" thing, same as me; they are such troopers. They keep me on track with my meds, subtly let me know when I get off track (because I turn into a grouch), drive me places (my vision was permanently damaged due to optic neuritis which is why MS was originally suspected), help me walk when my balance goes crazy, and take up slack cooking, cleaning and doing laundry when fatigue takes me down. The love of these two should be taken, boxed up, and put into every soul on the earth! They are that special! I love them both with all of my heart and soul and thank God each day for them.
