More than 70 volunteers dedicate their time and energy to the many Self-Help Groups meeting within the Lone Star Chapter. These peer-led groups provide much-needed support to people living with MS and those who love them. These monthly meetings and the connections they create would not occur without the dynamic leadership of group facilitators.
Trainings for Self-Help Group Leaders Now Online
The Lone Star Chapter offers various trainings, both in-person and via teleconferences, throughout the year to Self-Help Group leaders on various topics. The information provided in these trainings are meant to build the knowledge of leaders dealing with situations in their groups and their individual lives. We understand that time and schedules do not permit everyone to attend the scheduled meetings - therefore we are providing access to training materials online. We encourage you to take advantage of these educational opportunities at your convenience.
