Every Connection Counts.
People everywhere are creating connections stronger than the connections MS can destroy. Whether you join a Self Help Group, connect through an online MS Connections community, come out to a Walk MS or Bike MS event, or participate in a wellness activity, each of these give you the opportunity to connect with others in the MS movement.
The National MS Society is committed to facilitating connections within the MS community and to increasing awareness of year-round opportunities for people to come together to meet, share and learn.
- Find an in-person or virtual peer connection program, also known as a self-help group. These are groups made up of people with common life experiences who get together to support one another, share information, learn and have fun.
- Get Connected! Read about connection opportunities happening in your community, including third party events, casual get-togethers, fundraising and volunteer opportunities, and special programs. These events and programs are open to anyone in the MS Community and offer a valuable opportunity to meet others and make connections.
- Join a weekend recreation program, also known as camp. Meet others in the MS Community, enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, and stay in comfortable, accessible accommodations. Different programs are targeted to the different needs in the MS community: children, families, and even progressive MS.
