Help us bring wellness opportunities to your community: Become a Volunteer Wellness Partnership Cultivator!
For a person living with MS, the road to wellness involves more than just treatment of the disease. Exercise is a key component of your overall healthcare strategy. It improves cardiac health, stamina, mood and symptom management. Programs like yoga, Pilates, aquatics, weight-lifting and therapeutic horseback riding can help with symptoms like fatigue, weakness, balance and bladder difficulties. And wellness programs help with peer support and reducing isolation. Unfortunately, not every community has access to a wellness program that meets the needs of the MS community.
That is where you come in.
We want to partner with volunteers in the community who can help identify new wellness opportunities by connecting us with community wellness instructors or community-based wellness organizations. If you have a passion for wellness, or if you have identified a need in your community, there are many ways you can help.
