During the 2003 Texas Legislative Session, volunteer advocates from the Texas Chapters of the National MS Society talked to legislators and other decision makers in person, on the phone and by e-mail. They kept legislators informed about how health legislation will impact people with MS, and encouraged them to vote in favor of bills that will benefit people with chronic illness.
