the 13thannual
Women on the Move Champagne Luncheon and Fashion Show
presented by the McCarthey Family
Saturday, February 25 at the Grand America Hotel
We are happy to report we set a fundraising record raising more than $120,000
which will help us provide both local services to people with MS as well as dollars for critical research!
Luncheon guests arrived early to enjoy something bubbly while browsing the MS Boutique, bidding on auction items and purchasing raffle tickets for great packages for women! Thank you to our MS Boutique vendors: Artwears, Green Leaf Gifts, The Honey Shoe, Limoni Jewelry, Lori Jones Jewelry, Miche, Natural Art by Fred Montagne, Usborne Books and West Art Pottery.
Tonya Papanikolas, KSL TV5 morning and noon news anchor, emceed the program while guests enjoyed a delicious Grand America lunch.
After a brief update on MS research from Women on the Move Luncheon Chairman, Phil McCarthey, keynote speaker Jay Gurmankin, a loving father, successful lawyer with Holland & Hart and longtime Trustee of the Utah-Southern Idaho Chapter of the Society spoke about living life to the fullest despite having MS. His daughter Natalia also joined him on stage to share how she’s also living life to the fullest with help from her father.
Then the guests enjoyed a fabulous fashion show highlighting the latest spring fashions from Whimsy Clothing Boutique.
