Donate Your Car...Help the MS Society...Help the Environment
Did you know that you can get rid of your old vehicle and make a contribution to the MS Society at the same time? Our Chapter has now partnered with End-of-Life Vehicles which is the first environmentally friendly service that disposes of old cars and gives the money to charity. They will come to your home and pick up the car, dispose of it and then send the check directly to the MS Society. All of this happens locally.
Who Are They?
The concept behind the program came from the notion only licensed Auto Recyclers are properly equipped to process End-Of-Life Vehicles. Our member affiliates practice “Green Vehicle Disposal”. Fluids are drained, and all hazardous materials removed responsibly. In addition, 100% of the proceeds of each vehicle goes directly to the Central Virginia Chapter of the National MS Society.
What Does This Mean?
End-of-Life Vehicles, Inc does not extract any fees whatsoever from the charity vehicle donation process. The best Auto Recyclers across North America have teamed up to create this one of a kind network. Their program is completely self funded thereby eliminating expenses which are generally passed on to the charity by competing donation programs. Their affiliate members are proud to offer the full proceeds of each donated vehicle to the MS Society.
Maybe you have a car that would make a good starter car for a first time driver, or a great vehicle to get someone off to college. We also have a donation program for that. We will have the car picked up and sold at an auction. The proceeds from that sale will then be donated to our Chapter of the National MS Society.
