The Inaugural "Go Vertical for MS" was a success! Thanks to all who came and participated!
Standing over 500 feet high, the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center Residence at 4535 Commerce Street was the location for the first Stair Climb fundraising event of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Hampton Roads Chapter. Climbers may used any combination of walking, running and resting to climb 36, 72 or 108 flights of stairs up the tallest structure between Philadelphia and Charlotte! Teams and individual participants used the Stair Climb as a personal challenge or as a competition against other climbers or the clock.
“Go Vertical for MS” was a thrilling and unique fundraising event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society that embodied the Society’s campaign to Join the Movement. It was an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated stair climbers within the city of Virginia Beach and the surrounding Hampton Roads community to come together and bring us closer to a world free of MS
