The Hampton Roads Chapter recognizes that self help groups and social networking opportunities play a major role in helping those living with the challenges of MS.
Self Help Groups
Self help groups provide an avenue for connection, optimism, education, personal change, advocacy, and friendship.
Social Networking Opportunities
Social networking opportunities provide informal settings for those with MS to get together, meet others, and have fun.
MSFriends
Volunteers with MS connect with callers to share how they live with MS and to help with problem-solving or challenges people with MS face in relationships.
Online Peer Connections
Through the Online Peer Connections program you can search for and connect with a peer support volunteer who has “been there” and can provide you with helpful tips, suggestions and emotional support for the challenges that MS throws at you.
